CREATION AND REACTION: THE WOLFRYD COLLECTION
“A FUSION EXPERIENCE.”

THE WOLFRYD COLLECTION is essentially a HUGE “Portable Art Museum” founded in 2003, which can be “opened & shut” at any time; you are welcome to visit at your leisure and I hope you enjoy the “fusion experience.”

To date, I have over 20,000 art and writing documents providing inventory for THE WOLFRYD COLLECTION stored on my computer hard-drives.

This Collection includes digital, ideological, geometric & circular “reconstructions,” as well as photography, photo-essays, Mandalas, poetry, aphorisms and recent and older art works and writings.

Over the years, my art in general has been influenced by quite few memorable, world-class Contemporary and Modern artists including: Pablo Picasso, Chagall, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Robert Longo, Robert Indiana, Ellsworth Kelly, Jean Michel Basquiat, and many more.

My Favorite writers include E.E. Cummings, Gerftrude Stein, Carl Jung & Dr. Seus.

Meanwhile, my particular art is a “fusion-experience” --- a MIXED-MEDIA LANGUAGE --- of both art & conceptual images, combined with a growing “visual vocabulary” of IDEAS that evolve from both intellectual and soulful events.

Please keep in mind, that there are many artists who combine or compartmentalize their creative accomplishments into one media or another, mostly for the short-term experience.. Well. I have spent a lifetime “integrating” my artistic monologues and dialogues into a 40 year plus “fusion” experiment, hoping that something exciting develops from the mix . . .

For the most part, I tend to stay FOCUSED on creating art works rather than selling or marketing items --- as the former talent is something which is not-so-interesting to me. However, I do believe in the FIELD OF DREAMS code & concept --- “build it and they will come!”

Occasionally, my art work is also made available to various charities including the DESERT AIDS PROJECTS, PAWS and other not-for-profit groups. Please let me know if you or your not-for-profit group has a fund-raising need for any of my art files or material . .

Personally and professionally, I see myself as an “artistic & passionate observer” of life and love. One of my many aphorisms describes the following: “I am a reporter of chaos and disorder!” To be sure, I am a maverick integrator as well as an honest innovator; and I maintain a simple & reclusive lifestyle, currently based in Mexico City.

Hopefully, my art work & writing will portray my vision(s) and philosophies successfully.
I tend to focus on “creation and re-creation” ( and an abundant amount of “transformational” imagery ).

Frankly, I believe there are many BIG ISSUES worldwide that need to be addressed if our species is to survive on this delicate planet for the next thousand years. To be honest,, “changing form” is NOT a luxury for artists ( or any other individual ); it is a necessity in a world besieged by the arrogance of intolerable destructivity and selfish desires & pursuits.

In summary, my art and writing will hopefully one day INSPIRE many individuals to engage in conversations for understanding the valuable connections between us all, while prompting healthy and useful change(s) in our lives . In my own humble fashion, I wish to bring people in touch with moments and experiences of sheer beauty & joy amidst all the chaos and rancor which seems to reign supreme in the world.

IF my art “seems” cheeky, puerile, defiant & juevinile at first glance --- then the work is actually being misconstrued and misunderstood . . . for it certainly has much ADULT CONTENT to offer!

Just open your eyes, spirit, heart and mind . . . and ask yourself: “do you see what I see???”
