The way we “put ourselves together” on the outside is not as important as who we are on the inside!
The truth is that I really do get tired of “lofty fashion,” “good appearance” and “bad taste! Amy Lowell, in a poem entitled “Patterns” asked the question: “Christ what are patterns for? “ Is it conceivable that there are patterns of behavior, suffering and deprivation darker and more serious than how we are dressed today? Is today’s latest fashion craze so exquisite that we are excused from greater challenges in a world filled with more important considerations? Just like the next person, I love to feel good about myself --- but the truth is that true beauty is manifest from the inside out! Now go get dressed . . .
